Absolutely beautiful for my needsMar 04, 2009
By Harrison Perry This product really gives the illusion of stained-glass in my kitchen window which looks out to a very white wall. It minimizes the glare while providing the illusion of natural outdoors. Friends and family have walked in my kitchen and not even noticed it because it looks so natural - and when I point it out to them they say how beautiful it is. I plan to order more in other patterns for other windows in my home. Also, the photo posted online of this particular is washed out and does not do the product's natural, jewel-toned colors justice.
NOTE: I suggest you create a slight beveled effect by leaving at least a quarter- to half-inch space between the film and the window panes on all sides .. that way you can still "see out" the window, yet the pattern still looks seamless.

It's niceFeb 17, 2009
By A. Christian-Richardson I would agree with the 2 star rater that this product is not for windows that get long term direct sunlight. If it does heat up I'm very sure it will have a plasticy smell. I used it on my west side window that has direct sun but only for an hour or two, so far so good. (I do not smoke)It's very easy to install, cuts like butter with a new exacto knife and has no glue, it's a static cling system. Like the snowflakes on classroom windows. A whole roll consists of 24 inches by 36 inches. There is no graph paper on the opposite side so be sure to get a square (90 degree ruler) and a large flat surface on which to cut. The plastic doesn't rip easily. I'm very happy with the end results. The pattern is very large, one flower is almost as big as my hand. I would have liked more in a roll and smaller detail that's why this product doesn't get 5 stars.

Pretty and it workedSep 26, 2010
By Maeven I have a weird window on my front door which solicitors think invites them to stick their face up to and look around my home. It's been really annoying. I got this window film because it's pretty, will add some flair to the living room, and goes well with my decor. I'm actually quite pleased with it.
The pattern was larger than what I expected from the photo, but it's still very pretty and works well to block the window. I traced the window onto the film backing and cut it a few times until it matched up. Just clean and spray the glass down with lightly soaped water and it went on smoothly without any air bubbles. I could slide it around a bit to make it fit while it was still wet.
I was nervous about some of the reviews about adhering it, but had none of the problems other reviewers talked about. It has a good thickness, went on easily, looks attractive, and the best part, people can't see in even with their face up against the glass. Job done. This is a good product.

Magnolia has worked great for meSep 22, 2009

"Home Body"
I've had Magnolia up in my window for over a year in a west facing window that gets afternoon sun all summer, and I haven't had any trouble with smells. I love it. I'm usually pretty picky about things that smell. I just discovered the new Vienna image, and it works really well on my front door- it has some clear panels so I can tell who is on the other side. I love that there is no adhesive. [...]
